Resources for Impact Investing

Barra is an early adopter of impact investing in the region. Our early experiments in this field have enabled Barra to “walk the walk” regarding innovation: experimenting with an emerging tool, learning from it and disseminating lessons learned.

In the spirit of learning from intentional innovation, Barra is working to build the field of impact investors in the region, particularly peer philanthropic institutions. By sharing resources that have informed our journey, we hope to help Philadelphia-area foundations learn about and engage in impact investing.
